What happens if an event I want to sign up for is full?

All of the programs offered by AECS have capacities of students that will be allowed to sign-up for particular events. This is determined by the type of event being offered. If you do sign-up for an event that is full, you will be notified immediately that the event is at its capacity and you will be added to a waiting list. If a space becomes available because of a student dropping that event, the first person on the waiting list will be added to that program and will be notified by e-mail that they have been added along with information about dates, times and location of that event. If a waiting list becomes large enough to offer another program of that event, AECS will then look at the possibility of offering that to those interested students. Also, programs will most likely be repeated throughout the school year. So, if one is already full, you can look to see if another session of that program is being offered at a later time that you can sign-up for. If anything in this process becomes confusing, just e-mail at through the web site and we will help you with this process.
