Using specialized Lego material, students will learn about issues of alternative energy, its practicality and potential uses. By building and experimenting with different projects, students will see in action how alternative energy resources can play a part in present and future needs. Students will build a solar racer, a wind mill and a water wheel. Part of this workshop will show how one resource can transfer energy to another and how storage capacity plays a roll in this issue. As a final experience, students will build a solar car which they will attempt to have perform a designed task. | Upcoming EventsFor This Program There are currently no events scheduled for this program |
