Speed, momentum, potential energy and kinetic energy will be some of the concepts involved in this workshop. Students involved will design and create Knex rubberband racers, toolbox racers and mousetrap vehicles that will help them to explore these concepts along with learning data collection, graphing, as well as using experimentation with the devices that they create. As part of this workshop, students will work toward participating in a friendly competition with students in the same workshop to see who’s design works the best.
