In this workshop, students become crime scene investigators where they are called to a crime scene and collect as much evidence as possible for analysis and interpretation. In this activity, students will investigate 10 crime scenarios and draw conclusions as to whom or what is responsible. The workshops that will be included in this activity will be collecting and comparing fingerprints, paint chip analysis, handwriting analysis, detection of water pollution, soil analysis, hair analysis, comparing characteristics of leaves, assembling a human skeleton, using a bone to determine a person’s height and comparing fibers.
