Girls’ Science Sampler is a program designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment where your daughter can learn, be encouraged, and have fun in a variety of science based classes. Each class is designed as an introduction with hands-on activities and motivation guides as to how to continue learning about the specific topic.
Numerous sessions of Girl’s Science Sampler are currently offered. They are:

- Lego Robotics
Your daughter will be introduced to the wonders of making Legos move. Making a robotic model and programming it to do various tasks is the basis for this session.
- Math Challenge
Your child will be introduced to the amazing math based games of Math Challenge. The goal is for your daughter to learn and play one or two games and have fun playing against her classmates. The games include concepts of: basic operations, geometry, fractions, fraction to decimal conversion, and many more.
- Space/Flight and Rocketry
This Space/Flight and Rocketry class includes activity that explores aerodynamics, rocket design and flight. Building and launching a rocket is part of this experience.

- Lego Alternative Energy
In this workshop, students learn about issues of alternative energy sources. In doing so, they construct a solar racer, a windmill and a water wheel to see how each can create energy.
